Over 3 and a half years, I completed an apprenticeship at the House of Cerrone, Sydney.
I initially trained to be a stone setter, working inside the largest hand making workshop in Australia. Afterwards, I was given an opportunity to join their design team under their lead designer, Soo-Jin Lee.
I eventually managed the workshop temporarily, being the crucial link between sales, design and manufacturing. As well, I was responsible for ordering and managing all incoming and outgoing pieces to multiple cities in Australia.
During this time, I worked on everything from budget engagement rings, all the way up to priceless pieces gifted to royalty.

After my experience at Cerrone, I began to work for myself, helping clients bring their projects to life. Now in Pairs, I wish to further my own experience and connect with more jewellers.
My perspective on design is to always allow for progression. As someone who spent his early twenties staring through a microscope to set stones, I thoroughly understand the nuances of progressing designs and improving. I believe all things truly great come from the small amounts of experimentation I implement and undertake on each piece with the objective to exceed expectations.
My love for this craft has lead me to acquire skills in stone setting, cutting gemstones, and CAD design in Rhino & ZBrush.
